Nokia launches AI/ML-driven fixed network insights solution for telcos

NEW DELHI: Nokia has expanded its fixed network software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions suite with the launch of AVA fixed network insights, which the Finnish telecom gear maker said will enable telecom operators to “strengthen their customer service offering while reducing operating costs”.

The new solution uses artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) insights powered by Bell Labs algorithms across DSL, fiber, and fixed wireless access (FWA) networks to provide operations and customer care teams with automated recommendations and to proactively remediate problems within both home and access domains before they lead to network service problems and to reduce call handling times, as per Nokia.
