Nokia launches 5G services for Polkomtel in Poland
NEW DELHI: Finnish telecoms gear maker Nokia Friday said it has launched 5G services for Polkomtel, the operator of Plus network, in Warsaw, as well as in the estern parts of Poland.
The service has been launched in the fourth quarter of 2020 and, as part of the nationwide Plus 5G network rollout started in May 2020, will be further expanded in the coming months.
As part of the partnership, Nokia deployed its AitScale portfolio for both indoor as well as for outdoor coverage to enable Polkomtel in delivering low-latency services to its subscribers.
