Nokia bags 5G SA core deal from Comcast

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker will provide its 5G software and support services to Comcast to enhance connectivity experiences for Xfinity Mobile and Comcast Business Mobile customers in the United States.

Nokia in a statement said it will supply Comcast with its 5G standalone (SA) core networking software, including packet core, which will deliver near zero-touch automation and ultra-low latency capabilities, as well as operations software and consulting services.
