Nokia bags 5G radio equipment deal from Finland’s Elisa

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecoms gear maker Nokia on Wednesday said it has bagged a 5G RAN deal from Finnish telecom operator Elisa.

Under the deal, Nokia will supply its AirScale 5G RAN portfolio of products to enable Elisa in digitizing Finland, Nokia said.

The AirScale 5G Radio Access portfolio will further help Elisa provide enhanced mobile connectivity, as well as additional use cases such as Massive IoT and Ultra-Reliable Low Latency services (URLLC), Nokia said.
