No CVs, post TikTok videos instead: Hilton Hotel to job seekers

Global hospitality conglomerate Hilton Hotels & Resorts is encouraging job seekers to dump formal and conventional resumes while applying for a position. Weirdly enough, Hilton has asked job seekers to post TikTok videos instead.

Hilton shared a video on its TikTok account @hiremehiltonau labelled “recruitment process at Hilton”, with the accompanying caption saying, “Looking for a job with #hilton? ​​#tiktokresume #hospitalitylife #hiremehilton.”

Hilton posted a video insisting job seekers to search for roles they are interested in, and to apply for it by making, “a 1 minute video or less of showing how you would make this day for our Hilton guests”.
