Nigerian government enters into an association with UK’s Raspberry Pi Foundation over introducing Code Clubs

Nigeria’s federal government, through the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, has collaborated with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a computing education charity. The partnership will enable the unveiling of Code Clubs all over Nigeria, as stated by Cointelegraph.

According to Cointelegraph, the program is meant for 7-17 aged students and related prospects. From what it’s understood, the Code Clubs depict a set of extracurricular artificial intelligence (AI) programming clubs, towards digital literacy and Nigerian young minds for innovation. On November 8, 2023, the ministry stated that the Code Clubs will provide coding and digital technology knowledge to its members.
