Mumbai: Pitching itself as the ‘New Reliance for New India’, the Mukesh Ambani-led conglomerate has said it will be the best proxy for the country’s consumption and tech-propelled growth story.
In a presentation ahead of its rights issue that opens on May 20, Reliance Industries (RIL) said that technology-led growth will drive the next phase of value creation for the company, which has identified three new “mega-growth engines” – Jio, retail and the oil-to-chemical business.
RIL said it has aligned its businesses with national goals and priorities for making the country selfreliant, strong and prosperous, and that its innovative products and services touch the lives of 800 million Indians and have the potential to reach all 1.3 billion.
