New e-registration software in Registration Department

The Chhattisgarh Registration Department is set to introduce a new software system for e-registration at the offices of Deputy Registrar across theState.The National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) developed by the National Informatics Centre, Pune, will be adopted in Chhattisgarh, a press release said.

The software has been customized for Chhattisgarh. As a pilot project, it will be implemented from Dhamtari district from December 15. The documents and data will be stored in the NIC’s server, the press release said.The NGDRS has been adopted to shorten the registration time and document processing.

The devices required for operating the software have been availed to Chhattisgarh by NIC. Technical support will be provided by NIC Pune.
