Network woes hit online studies in N’singhpur

The school and college students of Narsinghpur block under Cuttack district have to come to open fields for getting mobile networks on every working day when their online classes are being taken by teachers.

As this block is surrounded with hills and mountains and the towers developed by different network providers are not sufficient to cover up the entire block, there is network problem.

Olab and Debhuin gram panchayats of the block are mostly facing the difficulty of mobile connectivity. They run to the open places, rooftops and hilltops of the areas for availing mobile networks.

The Government has only instructed the teachers to provide online education as per the guidelines of Covid-19 without considering the ability of the students to purchase handsets and data pack.
