Netflix to release over 40 Indian originals in 2021

Global streaming service Netflix has decided to up its game in India in a big way with over 40 new originals slated for launch this year in a bid to grab market share in one of the fastest growing OTT markets in the world.

While Netflix remains a premium service, it has a much smaller subscriber base in the country compared to rivals Disney+Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video.
