Netflix Basic with ads subscription won’t work on these devices

Popular OTT platform Netflix has recently launched a lower-priced subscription tier called ‘Basic with ads’ that offers 720p content streaming with ad breaks. The company has reportedly published a support page to announce the devices that won’t support the latest Netflix Basic with ads subscription tier.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the new less expensive Netflix plan will not support older Chromecast devices. Only the latest models, that come with Google TV will support the latest Netflix subscription tier.
