NEC launches E-band wireless transport solutions in India

NEW DELHI: NEC India Tuesday launched its outdoor, integrated iPASOLINK EX Advanced Dual microwave radio system for E-band (70-80GHz) communications in India.

As per the company, it can handle the current 4G-LTE and future 5G fronthaul/backhaul demands and can adapt to unexpected or scheduled network loads.

The iPASOLINK EX Advanced Dual can offer upto 20Gbps capacity.

It can be deployed by operators to expand rapidly in a cost-effective manner in the Indian market, the company said.
