NEC India says committing Rs 10 crores towards COVID-19 relief initiatives

NEW DELHI: NEC Corporation India (NEC India) Monday said it is contributing Rs 10 crore to support its employees and community welfare against the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the company will undertake CSR initiatives to aid COVID relief efforts in the country, including the donation of oxygen generating plants in rural hospitals; the contribution of 100 oxygen concentrators; sponsoring ICU beds in rural hospitals, and efforts to start crematorium.

“NEC is committed to support other local communities and augment medical infrastructure in different states,” it said.
