Leaders of the Narendra Modi government are marking National Startup Day on January 16, emphasising India’s place as the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), minister of state for information technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar, commerce minister Piyush Goyal and education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, among others, lauded the government’s efforts to propel the country’s entrepreneurs forward.
