National Geographic channel to live broadcast Chandrayaan-3 moon landing on August 23

Having departed the Earth’s orbit on July 14, the Chandrayaan 3 mission spacecraft is now en route to the Moon. The spacecraft had spent a duration of two weeks within the Earth’s orbit prior to embarking on this trajectory. ISRO has revealed that the Chandrayaan-3 mission is “on schedule” and the spacecraft will land on the lunar surface on August 23, 2023. Now National Geographic India has announced that it will capture Chandrayaan 3’s planned landing.

National Geographic Channel and Disney+ Hotstar will begin the live telecast of the event at 4PM on August 23, 2023. The show will be hosted by space expert Gaurav Kapoor and the show will take viewers on a journey through time and space,
