Narayana Murthy has a message for young employees on moonlighting, work from home

Moonlighting, a practice where employees secretly take up a second job or other work assignments along with their full-time job, has been one of the major concerns of the IT industry lately. These concerns are now being backed by Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. He stressed that youngsters should not indulge in practices like moonlighting or insistence on working from home. Murthy exhorted that ethics and laziness need to be given special focus.

“My fervent desire and humble desire to youngsters is please don’t fall into this trap of I will moonlight, I will do work from home, I will come to office three days in a week,” he said while speaking at the Asia Economic Dialogue organised by the Ministry of External Affairs.
