Mudrex gets $2.5-million seed funding from Nexus, others

Mumbai: Mudrex, a crypto asset management platform, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, along with participation of Village Global and prominent angels including Kunal Shah (Cred), Anand C. (Five9 Inc.) and Anjali Bansal (Avaana Capital).

The San Francisco, California-based company had previously raised $750,000 from Y Combinator, Better Capital and Woodstock Fund, among others. The fresh capital will be used to scale up the team and operations, and for creating more products and acquiring global regulatory compliances.
