MTNL launches Rs 251 prepaid data plan

NEW DELHI: State-run telecom operator MTNL has launched a new Rs 251 prepaid plan for its subscribers in the Mumbai region, as reported by GadgetsNow.

The STV plan carries a validity of 28 days and offers benefits such as 1GB data per day, unlimited local and STD calls, and 100SMS per day. However, once the data limit has been exhausted, users will have to pay 3 paise for every 10KB data consumed.

Recently telecom operator Vodafone Idea also launched a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 251 with a validity of 28 days. The plan offers 50GB total data to the users.

However, the plan does not offer any additional benefits like SMS and calling facilities. But users have the option of recharging their number with Rs 251 to enjoy additional data benefits.
