MP Tribal Museum presents ‘Patel-Pattalan’ dance on its YouTube channel

The ‘Patel-Pattalan’ folk dance drama was presented here on Friday. The event was broadcasted on Madhya Pradesh State Trubal Museum YouTube Channel. It was directed by Shobharam Vasore under Abhinayan series.

The dance drama is based on the family life of the householder. It was presented in the style of Nimad. There is a family of Patel and Mukhiya (head of the family) is an alcoholic. With the sevotional spirit of Dev Darshan, Patel wants to go alone on the Omkareshwar pilgrimage, but due to the persistence of his wife, he takes his wife with him.

Besides, Patel’s sister also has to come to the fair, but they are unable to meet there. It was all planned, but it all went in vain because of Patel’s alcoholic nature. Patel was unhappy for what he had to go through.
