MP cyber crime police holds meet to stop online fraud
To protect public, private and cooperative sector banks and customers from online fraud, a meeting of nodal officers of various banks was organised by Madhya Pradesh cyber crime police at State Cyber Cell on Tuesday.
Special Director General (Cyber Crime), Purushottam Sharma, discussed special issues regarding cyber crimes and cyber crimes under the guise of banking facilities by cyber criminals. Also the topics related to identifying the modus operandi used by organized gangs and controlling them and tracing the accused were also discussed.
It was assured by the bank nodal officers that they will work with the cyber police in the prevention of cyber crime and will cooperate in the investigation by establishing proper coordination.
He elaborated on the increasing online fraud in the cyber world. Along with this discussion safety and security covered in 30 points were discussed and the nodal officers of banks were asked to execute these points
