More iPhone users switched to iOS 16 after 24 hours of launch than iOS 15, claims report
Apple users have taken to iOS 16 more readily than they did iOS 15, at least after 24 hours of the release of iOS 16, with the new OS slightly ahead in adoption when compared to its predecessor, a new report has claimed.
According to a report by Mixpanel, after 24 hours upon release on September 12, iOS 16 has been downloaded by 6.71% of users so far, which is more than iOS 15’s 6.48% after a day. Both the OS are, however, no match for iOS 14 though when it comes to adoption by users in the first 24 hours, with it being downloaded by 9.22% of users.
The quick adoption for iOS 14 may have been due to the coming of the widgets to the Home Screen of the iPhone back then, and people may have taken to the idea of having a personal, custom look to the iPhone screen, thus speeding up adoption.
