Mobility drives highest number of transactions on ONDC: CEO Thampy Koshy

Mobility accounts for the highest number of transactions on the government-backed Open Network of Digital Commerce (ONDC), its chief executive Thampy Koshy told ET.

The network has facilitated 22,000 transactions so far till March 31. While retail accounts for 16,220 transactions, mobility (excluding Namma Yatri) accounts for 5,795 transactions owing to the Kerala Open Mobility Network (KOMN). Namma Yatri, the auto rickshaw booking app only operational in Bengaluru, which integrated with ONDC on March 23, alone facilitates 20,000 rides per day, Koshy said.
