Mobile towers: Rajasthan UDH lets go public objections clause

JAIPUR: The urban development and housing department (UDH) has removed the clause of seeking public objections and suggestions for installing mobile towers and other equipment on private buildings.

In recent draft policy guidelines for right of way (RoW) for establishment of telecommunications infrastructure, the department has mentioned that mobile operators will only inform the concerned authority by paying a fee of Rs 10,000 per tower.
