Mihup partners with Harman for voice assistants in Tata Motors cars

Pune: Mihup Communications Pvt. Ltd., an automated virtual agent, has partnered with audio electronics company Harman International for voice assistants in Tata Motors NSE 1.92 %’ cars, according to a statement on Monday.

The new solution will bring in Indian dialect and regional language support, something that was missing in the earlier in-vehicle voice assistant, it said. Mihup, which supports Hinglish language at present, will cover Tamil-English and Bengali English soon, with a plan to cover all major Indian languages by 2022.
