Microsoft to Windows 10 users: It may be time to upgrade

Microsoft has begun displaying full-screen prompts to Windows 10 users, urging them to upgrade to Windows 11 or purchase a new PC as the end of support date for Windows 10 approaches. The prompts, reading “A new journey with Windows…,” appeared after the recent Patch Tuesday updates, shown to users with PCs that are ineligible for the Windows 11 upgrade due to hardware requirements.

The full-screen prompt thanks users for their loyalty to Windows 10 and warns them about the approaching end of life (EOL) date. It also encourages users to learn more about transitioning to a new Windows 11 PC. Notably, the prompt does not allow permanently dismissing the message.
