Microsoft Outlook is rolling out this useful feature next month
Microsoft is bringing in a new handy feature on its mailing platform Outlook. Typing long emails on smartphones can be tedious at times and that is why the software giant is planning to add text predictions on Outlook. According to a post on Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the company will roll out the new feature next month for iOS and Android devices.
Once available, you have to enable the feature by going into Account Settings and turning on Text Predictions toggle. The artificial intelligence powered feature will be able to predict text to help users type faster. It can also help users to reduce spelling and grammar errors, saving a bit of time and effort. “Outlook can suggest words and phrases as you compose messages. When Outlook offers a suggestion, swipe to accept it.” the company explained in a message on the post.
It looks like Microsoft is slowly trying to catch up with its rival Google’s emailing platform. Gmail got the similar text predictions feature called Smart Compose back in 2019.
