Microsoft is making using Word, Excel better on Apple MacBooks
The launch of Apple’s M1-powered MacBooks has created quite a stir as they deliver superior performance than any other Apple laptop, or for that matter any laptop. App developers have had to tweak their apps to run better on M1 powered MacBooks. Microsoft 365 apps are quite popular among users and the US-based tech giant has announced how it is improving the experience of M1 Mac users.
As per a blog post penned by Bill Doll, Senior Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft 365, Microsoft is releasing new versions of many of Microsoft 365 for Mac apps that run natively on Macs with M1.
“The apps are not only speedy, but they also look fantastic as they have been redesigned to match the new look of macOS Big Sur,” wrote Doll in the blog post.
