Microsoft finds dangerous security exploit in macOS: All the details

A team of Microsoft security researchers have discovered and reported to Apple about a new macOS security flaw named Migraine. The iPhone maker has also recently addressed the vulnerability that allows attackers with root privileges to bypass Apple’s System Integrity Protection (SIP). With this exploit, attackers can install “undeletable” malware and access the victim’s private data by bypassing Transparency, Consent and Control (TCC) security checks. According to a report by Bleeping Computer, Apple has already patched the vulnerability in security updates for macOS Ventura 13.4, macOS Monterey 12.6.6 and macOS Big Sur 11.7.7 released on May 18.
