Microsoft doesn’t want you to use Google’s Bard on Edge browser

How dare you use Google Bard on Edge browser? That is not us saying, but Microsoft’s browser, Edge, is prompting users to try out its new Bing AI chatbot when visiting Google Bard.

A developer, Vitor de Lucca, recently shared on Twitter that the latest developer version of Microsoft’s Edge browser shows an advertisement for Bing next to the Google Bard URL in the search bar.

If users visit the bard.google.com on Edge browser, they may notice a new animated slide in the upper-right corner of the address bar, promoting Bing’s AI-powered search.
