Microsoft committed to use resources to support Covid relief efforts in India, says Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella, the India-born CEO of Microsoft said that the company is committed to using its resources to support pandemic relief efforts in India and is partnering with the US chamber of Commerce and Business to provide critical medical supplies to the country.

“We are committed to using our resources to support pandemic relief efforts in India and are mobilizing to address the country’s most urgent needs, partnering across the business community US Chamber to provide critical medical supplies,” Nadella wrote in the microblogging platform Twitter.

Microsoft has raised over $3 million from its employees with a matching grant from the company for the relief and is working with other companies to provide 25000 oxygen concentration devices to healthcare facilities in India, the company said.
