Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to defend its biggest deal in court

Microsoft is sending in the cavalry to defend against the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) case that will stop its proposed deal to acquire Activision Blizzard. The tech giant’s CEO Satya Nadella, Xbox chief Phil Spencer and several other Xbox executives will be present at the court proceedings. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick and CFO, Armin Zerza are also among the witnesses planned for a five-day evidentiary hearing set to begin this week.

Other Microsoft and Xbox executives to be present for the hearing include — Microsoft CFO Amy Hood, head of Xbox creator experience, Sarah Bond, Microsoft Gaming CFO Tim Stuart, Lori Wright (who previously testified for Microsoft at the Epic Games vs Apple trial)
