Meta India head Ajit Mohan quits to join Snap

Facebook parent Meta’s India head Ajit Mohan has stepped down from his position with immediate effect nearly after four years of joining the tech giant. Mohan is learnt to have joined rival company Snap as the president of its Asia Pacific business.

Meta confirmed the development to The Indian Express. “Ajit has decided to step down from his role at Meta to pursue another opportunity outside of the company,” Nicola Mendelsohn, vice president, global business group, Meta said in a statement. “Over the last four years, he has played an important role in shaping and scaling our India operations so they can serve many millions of Indian businesses,
