MeitY’s Gopalakrishnan becomes additional secretary in PMO

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government on Friday reshuffled and elevated as many as 23 top officials across departments, according to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the new appointments, the secretariat in a statement said.

S. Gopalakrishnan, a 1981-batch Tamil Nadu cadre Indian Administrative Officer (IAS) working as an additional secretary in the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) has been shifted to the Prime Minister Office (PMO) in the same capacity.
