MediaTek launches T750 5G chipset for mobile hotspot devices

NEW DELHI: Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek on Thursday launched the MediaTek T750 5G chipset for fixed wireless access (FWA) and mobile hotspot CPE devices.

The chip that is built on a 7nm chip design comes with an integrated 5G NR F1 radio, quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU, and supporting peripherals all built on a single chip.

The chip supports sub-6GHz frequencies and two-component carrier aggregation (2CA) technologies for extended coverage, inside and outside.
