MediaTek 700 5G chipset-powered Realme smartphone to be launched in 2021

NEW DELHI: Taiwanese fabless semiconductor maker MediaTek on Wednesday launched its latest Dimesnity 700 5G smartphone for mass-market 5G smartphones in India and said Realme will be the first smartphone maker to incorporate the 7nm process-based 5G chipset in its smartphone.

The Dimensity 700 5G chipset combines two Arm Cortex-A76 ‘Big’ cores in its octa-core CPU operating up to a speed of 2.2GHz, with connectivity features like 5G Carrier Aggregation (2CC 5G-CA), Dual-5G SIM along with 5G Voice over New Radio services.
