Mavenir raises another $100 million in capital

NEW DELHI: US-based telecom gear maker Mavenir has closed a $100 million capital raise, which it will invest to strengthen its automation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for Open RAN-based cloud-native networks.

The fundraising round was anchored by Siris, a technology-focused private equity firm and Mavenir’s largest equity holder, along with investment from two highly strategic ecosystem partners, according to a statement by the company Tuesday.
