Mark Zuckerberg was compared to Donald Trump and here’s how he reacted

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared before the US Congress yesterday to respond on many issues like anti-trust, Facebook’s upcoming cryptocurrency among others. During the hearing, a Republican senator Barry Loudermilk compared the Facebook CEO to US president Donald Trump. The senator from Georgia said that “both of you are very successful businessmen, both are capitalists and both are billionaires.” He further said that the one thing common to Zuckerberg and Trump is that “you both challenge the status quo. He calls it draining the swamp, you see it innovation.”
Interestingly, later during the Congressional hearing, Juan Vargas, a Democrat from California told Zuckerberg that he “is almost tempted to ask” if Zuckerberg “took the comparison as a compliment.” He further said that “since you can’t lie to Congress”. Vargas, however, quickly said that “don’t answer that. Not even with a smile.” Zuckerberg was caught completely off guard and was visibly awkward after the question.
