Many 5G use-cases to be trialed in India in 2019; commercial deployments in 2020: TechM executive

NEW DELHI: Many 5G use-cases are expected to be trialed in India in 2019 followed by commercial deployments in 2020, told Manish Vyas, president of communications business and CEO of network services, Tech Mahindra, in an interaction with ETTelecom. Edited excerpts:

Please elaborate on Tech Mahindra’s 5G business
We are engaged in detailed boardroom discussions with top telcos in the nation. Globally, we are working with many telcos across North America, UK, Germany, as well as telcos in APAC, ANZ and North Asia regions on 5G launch and digitalization programs. We have some notable 5G projects that we have been delivering over the last 8-10 months.
