The DoT is issuing fresh Preferential Market Access notification in respect of five telecom products – 2G BTS, GPON, PABX, SDH and DWDM – clarifying what constitutes domestic Bill of Material (BoM). The draft notification is reproduced herein for our readers. It has also issued a notification on January 31, 2015 specifying the phasing of value addition over 5-6 years period to qualify as domestic manufactured product.
