mAadhaar app offline verification: What is it and how it can help users

The Unique Identification Authority of India launched the mAadhaar app in 2017. This platform allows Aadhaar holders to access their card at any time and any place. The app also enables users to download both a regular and a masked Aadhaar. Moreover, the mAadhaar app also helps users retrieve their lost or forgotten Aadhaar card. The app is available for both Android and iPhone users.

Apart from this, the app also helps to secure Aadhaar details and keep fraudsters at bay. UIDAI has recently promoted one of the security features of the app that allows users to verify other Aadhaar cards even when there is no internet.
