L&T Infotech ropes in Aruna Sundararajan as independent director
L&T Infotech, IT solutions, and services company has roped in former telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan as an independent director for a five-year term.
“Former telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan will serve as an independent director of L&T Infotech with effect from May 19, 2020, to May 18, 2025,” a person aware of the matter told ETTelecom.
Sundararajan is a 1982-batch Kerala cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who served in various Central departments. She superannuated on July 31, 2019, as the Secretary, Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Sundararajan is the architect of the National Digital Communication Policy (NDCP) 2018 and was at the helm of many digital initiatives during her stint as Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY).
