Looking at fund raising opportunities, AGR ruling to decide quantum: Vodafone Idea

Mumbai/New Delhi: Vodafone Idea is exploring fundraising options and is waiting for the Supreme Court’s ruling on payment of adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues before deciding the amount required, top company executives said.

The loss-making operator has started a restructuring drive to help save Rs 4,000 crore on an annualised basis over next 18 months. The steps include cutting IT costs, centralising decision making, lowering distribution costs by pushing digital recharges and automating functions.
