Locally manufactured 1 mln units of various products in Q1FY23: Boat

New Delhi: Homegrown hearables and wearables brand, Boat Tuesday said it has manufactured a record one million units of truly wireless earbuds, wireless headphones, power banks and charging cables in the first quarter of this fiscal.

Imagine Marketing, which owns the brand Boat, had claimed the top spot in the wearables segment with 39.3% market share in 2021, according to IDC India.

The company had inked a deal in January this year with contract manufacturer, Dixon Technologies to locally manufacture Bluetooth-enabled hearables products in India.
