Listing with EEC ‘confirms’ new Apple products other than iPhone

Late in July, Apple directly confirmed that certain models of the new iPhone will be shipped later than usual. Traditionally, Apple unveils the new iPhones — along with the Watch or an iPad — in September but this year it’s looking a bit iffy — at least for the iPhone. However, other products like the Apple Watch and iPad may be launched as per schedule. Lending credence to this information is a leaked listing on the Eurasian Economic Commission. The listing reveals that Apple has registered seven new variants of the iPad and eight variants of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6.

Now, this doesn’t mean that Apple will launch seven new iPads or eight Watch Series 6. Rumours have suggested that Apple could unveil a 10.8-inch iPad model, which could be the direct replacement of the 10.5-inch iPad Air. Reliable Apple tipster Ming Chi-Kuo has hinted that the new iPad could have a TouchID and not FaceID and will come with USB-C charging port.
