Lionsgate expands South Asia MD Rohit Jain’s role to cover emerging Asian markets

MUMBAI: Hollywood content major Lionsgate has renewed the contract of Rohit Jain, managing director, South Asia, and has elevated him with the additional responsibility of emerging markets in Asia.

With the promotion, Jain will be responsible for shepherding growth across all of Lionsgate’s South Asian businesses and expanding the Starz premium subscription platform throughout the emerging markets of Asia.

Jain has been leading the India operations of Lionsgate since it opened its first office in India in 2018. He has overseen the growth of its Asian operations and launch of the Lionsgate Play streaming service across multiple emerging Asian markets including India.
