Lenovo looks to diversify India portfolio

Lenovo India will launch a smartphone-sized tablet under Rs 10,000 apiece from the next quarter, the top country executive of the Chinese personal computer and cellphone maker said. It already has tie ups with ride hailing firm Ola and educational technology company Byju’s to drive sales in the segment.

The company is also looking to diversify its portfolio to include personal devices, smart cameras and enterprise Internet-of-Things solutions this year as demand for PCs stagnates in the country, CEO Rahul Agarwal told ET.
