Krafton launches iOS version of Battlegrounds Mobile India

Pune: South Korean video-game developer Krafton Inc. has launched the iOS app for Battlegrounds Mobile India, the local version of its wildly popular PUBG Mobile.

Downloads of the Android app have crossed the 50-million mark.

After month-long pre-registrations on the Google Play store, Battlegrounds Mobile India was officially launched in July, nearly a year after PUBG Mobile — along with 158 other Chinese apps—was banned in the country following border skirmishes with China in Ladakh. Chinese company Tencent Holdings Ltd. was the publisher of PUBG Mobile in India.
