Karnataka HC vacates injunction, allows Netflix to stream blocked episode of ‘Crime Stories’

The Karnataka high court on Thursday allowed Netflix to stream the first episode of true crime documentary series, ‘Crime Stories – India Detectives’, which was blocked by the court on October 1st.

The single-judge bench of the Karnataka high court headed by Justice BM Shyam Prasad vacated the ad interim injunction granted earlier and dismissed the petition filed by a Sridhar Rao, an accused in the murder documented in the episode, ‘A Murdered Mother’.
