Ka Ching! Box Office collections may have set a weekend record

The cinema exhibition industry clocked over ₹390 crore in combined gross box office collection between August 11 and 13, marking the busiest single weekend for the industry post the re-opening of cinemas after the pandemic. The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and Producers Guild of India (PGI) noted that the ₹390-crore gross box office collection is possibly the biggest ever for a weekend in the industry’s history.
