Often email users’ mailboxes are inundated with unsolicited credit card and insurance offers. These are known as junk mails. The culprits behind this influx are the major credit reporting bureaus: Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, and Innovis.
These bureaus furnish credit and insurance companies with lists of consumers meeting particular criteria for prescreened offers. It’s entirely legal, but there’s a remedy: Opt Out Prescreen, a tool crafted by these very credit bureaus.
